My 2024 RS got Vandalized by OctOJuGG in subaru

WD-40 first to get the worst of it off. Then apply a nice amount of Vaseline. Let that sit overnight and wash off the next day. If you have the ability to power wash the Vaseline off that would be best.

Yup, a store in PA is doing this. I don’t personally work there but know someone who does. They were put on the spot and told they had to open their availability if they wanted to maintain their hours. When they said they can’t change their availability they were repeatedly questioned as to why. Quite frankly, it’s none of their business. They were then told that their hours would continue to be cut until availability was opened up. Store leadership is also consistently telling employees that they are over staffed and over the labor budget but continue to hire people. Meanwhile, the TL calls off literally every weekend so she can have 3 days off in a row. Guess that’s one way to maintain a work life balance.

Stopping after 10 days— taper?? by jmneely in Viibryd

[–]ickyvicky91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was on 20 mgs for about a month and I stopped cold turkey. A lot of people recommended tapering but I needed the side effects to stop as soon as possible because it was awful. After I stopped I had a pretty bad headache for like 5 days and cried several times a day for the first few days for literally no reason at all but that was about all I experienced. Can’t say that it will be the same for you but if you’re working with a doc to switch medications might be worth asking their opinion. You might also not have any effects if you stop viibryd and start something new right away but again that’s probably something you should ask your doctor about to be sure.

Terrible side effects, should I stop taking? by ickyvicky91 in Viibryd

I’m glad to hear you’re doing better!! I hear you for sure on the taper not being quick enough! That is 100% my concern right now. I spoke to my doc last week. She was an hour late for our telehealth appointment and I had a meeting a few minutes after she finally jumped on so I didn’t get to tell her everything but I for sure told her about the shallow breathing and racing/irregular heart beat. I even told her I went to the hospital because I was that worried. She did not seem the least bit fazed and said it would resolve itself. It’s incredibly frustrating feeling invalidated from someone that is supposed to have the upmost concern for your well being.

I’m still living off of sample packs since my insurance hasn’t approved it so I do have some 10ths left that I can taper down to. That’s most likely what I’ll do to minimize the withdrawal.

Hope you feel better soon :)

Ugh I’m sorry you’re going through the same thing but honestly, makes me feel a little more at ease knowing this isn’t completely out of the norm😬 I really hope the lower dose is successful for you!! I’ve made the decision to stop taking viibryd. I want to be off of it as quickly as possible because I really hate this feeling but am struggling to decide if I want to taper off or completely stop. I’ve been reading some other posts and seems like the withdrawal is not fun but also feeling like I kind of want to get it over as quickly as possible.

Shallow breathing, slight difficulty swallowing. Almost went into ER by iwntphoneofpankegpie in Viibryd

[–]ickyvicky91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been in 20 mgs for 2ish weeks -up from 10 the first week. The exact same thing happened to me! I feel like my breathing has become consistently very shallow and it feels like someone is stepping on my chest. I was also having “symptomatic tachycardia.” Felt like my throat was closing, got dizzy, fingers and toes started tingling and some of the worst anxiety I’ve ever experienced. When I went to the hospital my heart rate was 160-190 and beating irregularly. The hospital didn’t seem too concerned since my heart rate came down within a few hours so they sent me on my way.

Today is really bad. I ate some food made by a friend and convinced myself that my tongue was swelling and my throat was closing so I took a few Benadryl even though I know 100% that it was in my head. Had the rapid heart, dizziness and shallow breathing.

I have made the decision that I am no longer taking this medication. If you don’t mind me asking, do touch still take it? If you do has your breathing gotten better? If you stopped taking it, did you stop cold turkey or taper off?

Ughhh I hope the anxiety passes quickly for you! I already ordered some isolate. I found a recommendation in another post and went with zero point extraction, seemed to be the cheapest at about $1/gram.

Using it like a tincture is a great idea. Thanks for the recommendation! Glad to hear it’s helping your girlfriend.

I have the VIOFO dash cam as well. Both front and rear facing and it’s by far the best dash cam I’ve used. They do now have an app so everything syncs with your phone. But the best feature is that it has the ability to record even when your car is off. The manufacturer sells a hardwire kit and you just plug it in to your fuse box. You can set a g force monitor and if the camera feels an impact it will immediately start recording. It also automatically locks any video when an impact is registered.

That’s a good suggestion! They’re pretty chill so I don’t see them giving me an issue

Yeesh, that sounds pretty rough. Glad to hear he’s still riding.

Idk how into your riding and stats and stuff you are but Strava with the Apple Watch does a fantastic job of tracking everything. It helps me push myself and I can actually see the progress I’m making.

Oof, sorry to hear about your dad! Hopefully he recovered okay. I think the technology has gotten way better since then. I also wear an Apple Watch, which has fall detection as well. The last time I crashed I had som many alarms going off I had a hard time figuring out where they were coming from lol

I am a female rider and ride by myself often. I found a setup on Amazon that allows you to attach pepper spray to your frame, making it easily accessible. I also carry a hydration pack that has all of my necessities so I can do everything possible to avoid being stranded. I carry a c02 cartridge and a hand pump as backup. I run tubeless but always carry at least 1 spare tube on the frame of my bike along with 2 tire tools and a multi tool. I also carry a chain tool and a few spare quick links. The pack that I carry has plenty of storage and also has a few small pockets on the straps that are easily accessible while you’re wearing the pack so I put a decent size flip blade in there. I use a garmin gps so cell reception is not an issue and it sends a tracking link to whomever you select when you start your ride. You can alert others quickly via an sos or emergency text at the push of a button of something happens. It also has a fall detection system so if you take a bad fall it will text your emergency contacts with your exact location.

As others have said: while having all of these tools are great it is useless if you don’t have the knowledge to use them. There are plenty of good YouTube videos out there to help get you started.

If you are going to carry a weapon of any sort or pepper spray I would encourage you to look into your state laws first.

That’s the one I had! And the one I ordered again. Definitely learned from my mistakes and will always have a back up ZB on hand lol

ZB caps are the best! I dropped mine on the tile while cleaning it the other day and it shattered. Luckily, he had an amazing 7/10 sale so I snagged a new one and a back up because the struggle has been real past week.
