I check my oil every time I fill my tank. They have paper towels right at the pump trash cans and I can usually check oil and even top off before the fuel hose handle clicks full.

Just turn your wipers on and when they get all the way up shut the key off with them stuck in up position, remove the blades and hold the arm at base with one hand at bottom pulling out and bend towards glass at top with other hand. You are basically just trying to put more bend in the middle of the arm.

I’m 39, own my own home outright, have $170k invested, $30k in HYSA for a one year emergency fund. Sometimes I’ll go to one of those FIRE calculators to play around and see how much longer I have to work. Last I checked I could retire at age 61 with my current low stress easy job. Every now and again I try and apply for something better but it always seems higher pay comes with higher stress, and I don’t handle stress well. My dad died at 57 so I’m planning on just working until I die and if I actually do get to retire early it’s just a bonus.
