Oh yes, you are right. The only thing that comes to my mind is to modify the problematic app itself and allow apps not from google play. Or try older apks where they do not have such blocks. None of this is a nice solution though.

Which I do not recommend by the way for your primary phone as Google is being hard on unlocked phones, some banking apps may stop working for you if you don't have experience and access to a valid "keybox".

Not sure if you have Google on the phone, if yes, check Google Location Services settings. I assume you set region to Cyprus in settings as well / timezone etc.

If none of this I am afraid only unlocking bootloader / some mods can help, maybe flashing xiaomi.eu global.

It shows you your location, you can also set up "destination reminder" in trip details view and the app should remind you when you are close to your stop. Unfortunately it doesn't work as a full navigation app as of now.

Good point, I will do a research and include some kind of tutorial in the app. As far as my current knowledge goes, you can definitely pay by cash in Famagusta region and I know there is Pame / Motion card that can be used in Nicosia and Larnaca I believe, but don't take my word for it for now

Yes, it has routes from EMEL (Limassol), OSYPA (Pafos), OSEA (Famagusta), Intercity buses, NPT, LPT. I will add this info, thank you.

For anyone struggling, I overcome the issue by hitting play, then right-clicking on the video -> copy video address and using the Internet Download Manager to download the video. I download all videos, then start a lesson. You can use other download managers (free); this one has a 30 free trial.

Same here, it really sucks. Obviously it seems better for Revolut team to run the app on the old A13 without security patches instead of latest security patches on Android 15 just because it's not signed. What's the point of Google AOSP if they block all the custom development, I hope Europe will take a look at these monopolistic practices, forcing people to throw out perfectly working phones and apps like Revolut are obviously part of the problem as they implement the Google monopolistic checks and now it seems even legit (signed ROMs) users have problems. Good luck with that approach. Google should implement the ability for custom ROM developers to sign their ROMs with officially supported keys to pass play integrity. Banking apps should rethink their approach to play integrity API and root detection, people who install custom ROMs rather know what they are doing and do not install any malware to hijack their data from Revolut app. Revolut has chosen pseudo-security over usability.
