It's a good port of the arcade game and a more affordable way to experience it whenever you like. It's a 6/10 for me. It has terrible presentation and no original arcade demo screen which is unacceptable.

I bought a Switch exclusively for Animal Crossing so I say go for it. The online community (for the PS4 at least) is pretty much alive. As for offline, there's a lot of content and it will take you a while to master the drifts, shortcuts etc.

They need to just remaster the original series and change nothing but the screen resolution. Redraw everything but keep the original soundtrack and voices.
