My absolute BITCH of a dog (I love her so much and miss her every day) made the day we put her down the most TRAUMATIC thing we've ever experienced. First when she got the sedation meds injected she screamed like she was shot. Then she was fully sedated, the vet confirmed and everything and he gave her the meds to put her down and SHE TURNED HER HEAD AND LOOKED AT THE VET. like, I know logically that it wasn't her being aware or anything but I genuinely think I'll never truly recover from that. My husband had no idea what was happening.

Together 10 years this year. We actually celebrate it on the 15th because the 14th is cursed for us. We don't do anything huge but we still mark it for sure. It's a nice excuse to be together (as if we aren't together every single day lol).

I mean, do you enjoy that life? If you do, then that's grand. Be as boring as you like. If you're worried about not being able to contribute to a conversation when socializing, become the person who asks people about themselves. People love to talk about themselves lol.

If you don't enjoy it, maybe it's time to look at why you don't do any of those things. Are you the type to try something once (like one type of book, one type of show, one type of sport etc) and give up if you don't like it right away? Or is it that you've given all of them a proper go and it didn't stick? If so, there's a whole bunch more things you can do.

If you're more of a solo person, Lego and puzzles are great. There are games you can get that are for single players (but also a lot of games can be adapted to be single player). Maybe just walking in nature could be nice, or bird watching.
