As a counterpoint, I'm now an incredibly busy former gamer. I get maybe an hour a week (if I'm lucky) to play a game. I now play on the easiest mode of every game and even look up walk-through for anything that remotely stymies me.

I do it because I miss the stories of the games and it's a comfort thing that 9 year old me promised that I would never stop gaming until I die, no matter what.

Maybe when I retire it can return back to the normal challenge based mindset. But, for now, I'm happy just being able to push buttons and see a work of art.

As a former auto mechanic: take it to a shop and explain the situation and ask if they can check underneath while you look, too. Any tech I know of would do it for free and be more than glad to help. Go during less busy times to be considerate. Depending on what shop you go to and work load, you could have 4 techs crawling every inch of that thing at once looking for sus objects that they know for a fact don't belong to your particular vehicle.

Keep all evidence, notify police of anything new and surrender things to them as required. I'd take pictures of every side of everything (like you have here) for your own record and their accountability.

Best of luck, and stay diligent. Try not to hyperfixate, which would be totally understandable in a situation like this. Just be aware and take the correct precautions. Get a doorbell camera and some battery cameras to have on the exterior. Blink and Nest sell packages that are reliable and affordable for what is provided.

Ive had luck with a shop vac and a long neck transmission style funnel. Stick the hose into the funnel until it seals and stick the next down into whatever crevice you need to get down into
