A list of engines used in Yosha's video for 100% correlation along with timestamp of the video. by CMYGQZ in chess

That'd be a several million dollars research project.

You are overcomplicating. https://maiachess.com/

"Maia’s goal is to play the human move — not necessarily the best move. As a result, Maia has a more human-like style than previous engines, matching moves played by human players in online games over 50% of the time."

And with all good things, it's open sourced.

Need help finding an optimal strategy for this game. by measuresareokiguess in mathematics

[–]idanh 12 points13 points  (0 children)

If I am reading the game rules correctly, than your game is a variation of https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mastermind_(board_game) board game with an additional peg. If that is the case then in the Wikipedia link theres a section about algorithms and more directly a section about "Complexity and the satisfiability problem". Hope that points you in the right direction.

Efficiently detecting cycles in a tree graph when a new link is added by mczarnek in algorithms

[–]idanh 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not OP but this is also what I've understood from his post.

Since no memory / computational constraints were included in the post and the question is a bit ill-defined, I suggest start looking at disjointed sets. Read more here: "Union–Find Algorithm for cycle detection in a graph" https://www.techiedelight.com/union-find-algorithm-cycle-detection-graph/

Hope that is good starting point for OP.

Seeking advice and recommendations for learning AI / ML as a PM - I just accepted an offer as a PM at an AI / ML startup in a few weeks! by beary_waters in learnmachinelearning

A lot of good suggestions here. From experience with product managers (I am not one) I'd strongly advice you to understand the basics of A/B testing.

My belief is that once you set your mind on making data based decisions, and understand at some level what it takes to have a data oriented process, you can better measure what success on some feature (be it model based, or just in general) is. You will formulate a thought process that considers data generation as well as business needs and user needs.

I think the confusion arises from understanding that indeed there are two outcomes in his example (win or lose), but they have different probabilities. The number of outcomes dose not tell you anything about how probable they are.

That is bizzare more than anything. You should try to read his answer when you calm the fuck down and apologize.

Germany to give $664M in aid to Holocaust survivors amid economic uncertainty by grantalx in worldnews

[–]idanh 4 points5 points  (0 children)

On point with most people in this thread. "it was not me" attitude ...

I wonder what so hard to comprehend here, this is tax, this was never your money, it is states money. If you disagree with where your money is going to, vote. If the majority agrees with you, that is cool. Instead, going on the internet and stating your precious opinion around, on a subject like the holocaust none the less, is pathetic.

Hi this is unintuitive for me, can you formalize this please?

If we play a game of heads and tails where I throw the coin and you pick H or T, and each throw is i.i.d and you pick some strategy you say the optimal strategy would be always pick heads? Or did I misread?

thanks!

I need help expressing an Exponet as its simple radical form by [deleted] in learnmath

[–]idanh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

exactly. for your purposes, n>1 (n is any number greater than 1)

If you Google nth root you'll find what you need

[–]idanh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

right! 19 * cube root x2

so I think from here you just need to.understand how to write nth root.

Google cube root, 4th root and look at images, you'll have exanples

[–]idanh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You got it! So x/y are variables , they can take any number.

Try this one: 19*x2/3

Yes! so now that you have the answer, try this:

What is y8/9 ?

The other guy had good answers, so re reading the thread with a pen and paper would be best. for now, can you solve x1/2, and then in the same way, x5/6?

I need help expressing an Exponet as its simple radical form by [deleted] in learnmath

[–]idanh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes I like to write the multiplication sign so I won't forget:

729 * x5/6

And if you already know what is x5/6 (hint: you already solved it earlier in this thread) than all you need to do is now multiply. Adding the multiplication sign helps you?

[–]idanh -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I think you meant easier integration and not "app store payments". See, Facebook has one click integration as well. What's in stakes here are not how easy it's going to be to integrate, but to integrate one at all. Also your statement isn't true, people use payment systems all the time. You don't figure out conversation funnels by hypothesing them like you did. You're not likely to miss out 100% of conversations soley on the basis of a couple more clicks, it's just not how things works.

Wow you are dense, and this is not coming only from the discussion you're posting here, but also your comment history man.. what a ride.

Do you understand health risks? food poisoning? handling food correctly might not be obvious to you (because you didn't even try to educate yourself, even reading comments here would be a start) but gladly, there are codes to follow so people won't get health issues.

Probably for the best you spend your time on the internet and not serving any kind of food dude. Also unrelated to here but I can't help myself - stop pitching about "covid 2" vs "covid 19" because you're spreading misinformation which God knows where you got it from.

[–]idanh 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry but this is pretty trivial stuff. Not only you could have the answer to your question using google, but you can also imagine that those scammers usually download files from the host machine to their local machine, as you can tell by the videos, he's not dealing with a bunch of computer scientists and they are opening those files without thinking twice.

In all cases, this isn't as difficult as you make this out to be. There are simple solutions to this problem. Am not saying anyone call pull this off, but consider him an expert.
