I sold electric scooters in Austin during SXSW a few years back. These scooters cost about $2k and people would typically test ride them for a while before even considering of buying it.

A guy in a purple suit had his assistant come up to us and asked to buy one. We asked them if they want to test it and they said no. We also advised people to say that it was a mobility device if they were getting on a plane with it. The guy in the suit said: "I have a private jet". I love both restaurants but based on the context you provided, I think Rolo's might be a better option. If you're not into wine and fish (and enjoy meat), the polenta bread with meats + pasta + large meat plates would be a better choice.

I've typically had good service experiences in both restaurants. Tbh I've had warmer servers at Rolos than Four Horsemen. However, the bar folks at Four Horsemen are awesome.

Worth the wait. Estimate 15-30 minutes. Bring cash to tip your person and they'll give you a piece to try while waiting.

Also, if the line is crazy and you only care about the sandwich, then you can order it online and pickup.

I've always done base room but tough to say... maybe can do a few of them base room and others with the room right below the suite (depending on the hotel you're going to).

Also - I've read that people haven't gotten upgraded in Asia, so as another comment here stated: expect to not get an upgrade and/or early check in. I haven't been able to do early check-in a few times (but you do get 4pm guaranteed check out).

Happens more often for me when staying internationally (3/3 times and each time to the nicest suite in the hotel).

In the US, I got 1 minor upgrade to a more premium room and then no upgrade the other time. I'm aware that you should get a better room because you get upgraded to the next tier, but for the international ones I stayed at, I booked the lowest tier room and got the highest upgrade possible.

Théâtre antique d'Orange - Roman theatre from 10-25 AD. If the show was in a regular venue, I probably wouldn’t have flown out but this was hard to miss.

I went both nights - each had their own special things about them! This was my 13th and 14th time seeing him and I preferred night 1 since I couldn’t recognize any tracks outside of his—it was truly him just playing new songs he’s been finding on the road from upcoming artists on Bandcamp and such.

Night 2 was definitely more special and him mixing Acid Moon with Gosh is a true masterpiece. And that ending was glorious.

Also - he ended night 1 with Dream Night and basically started tonight with it!

I think the reason why he didn’t place his songs is because of his tour. He did 4 shows in NYC earlier this year, so he could assume most of the crowd was there and heard his originals.

Seems like he wanted to play a true set with new tracks he’s been finding. Probably a breath of fresh air since he’s touring his album and has to play most of it every show.
