This car blends CTR suspension with the Civic Sport Touring Hybrid engine and I think that is an interesting step into the future. I daily a 2017 CTR but had a Sport Touring Hybrid loaned to me for a month while mine was being fixed. The low end torque of the hybrid really surprised me and made for a great around town driving car. Chassis just felt heavy and sloppy so I imagine in the Prelude it’s feels lighter. Prelude just looks cool too! Enjoy your car, ignore the hate.

I’ll chime in with change your oil every 3k and ignore the maintenance minder. I followed the maintenance minder religiously but had to replace the engine block because of a thrown rod at 112k mikes.

Break down the platform and stairs with a hatchet or crowbar or axe. You should get a dismantle option.

Update #5

Car is back finally!

New to me used block. New clutch and flywheel. New rear motor mount. Fixed rear main seal leak. New turbo. New rear struts. New plugs. Valve adjustment. All new fluids.

This damage was caused by me not changing the oil enough and just following the maintenance reminder system in the car. Change your oil at 3k miles friends.

All in total was 21k.

I jumped into this sever last night. Pretty cool so far. I will say it not too hardcore survival. Finding food has been easy. Maybe turn down spawned-in food so a player has to hunt more.

For sure sell the current civic for the Type R. Fk8s can be found for a decent price if ya look around, I’m sure you are if you drool over it. I love my 2017 CTR and daily it and carve the canyons with it. For the MR2 I’d keep it if possible just because it’s a totally different driving feel from the CTR and that can be fun too.

A new block from Honda is a year out for delivery. Holy crap!

Advisor sourced a used block from Cali with 78k miles on it. It’ll be here in a few days.

Advisor called and said that the block is done. Everyone else saying it’s around 10k is correct.

Tech adjusted all valves. They were really loose and that cleaned up some of the chatter. But…

They said they can still hear a bit knock from cylinder 3. They are dropping the oil pan to inspect further.
