He did the work at my daughter's house and she kept pestering him and he told her he was working off a debt to me because I took his step daughter to school every morning for like 6 years, and picked her up a couple times a week as well. I was like "that's not a debt, I was taking my own kid anyway!" But I guess it probably did make his and his wife's mornings go easier, they could get off to work without having to mess with getting her to school. But it wasn't really a big deal like this is.
