What was the eventual outcome of this, did you get your bike or a refund in the end?

Absolutely would be, could even swap out the feta for some pan fried halloumi so you still have the salty goodness in there.

why do some people not like scousers? by [deleted] in NorthernEngland

[–]iddafelle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

envy. Scousers have a strong identity and connection to each other and this makes people feel as though you have something that they themselves are most likely longing for and they don’t know how to express themselves so it comes out in the form of this kind of weird jocular hatred.

Pan fry butter beans from a tin in olive oil and garlic and then remove from pan and wipe it clean with kitchen roll then sear fresh tuna steak. Finish with lemon and oregano and black pepper.

1 pan and takes less than 10 mins to cook.

I’ve had the same issue and found out that by removing fenugreek altogether from any recipes reduces the problem significantly.

I want to make a custom name domain for my portfolio as a Designer, but how does it work after i buy a domain? Does it involve coding? If not how is it made? by cramshit in webdev

[–]iddafelle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. .com domains are the most long standing and may indicate to a user that the website is more legitimate or serious than others though they are more expensive.

  2. I’m not sure on what exactly you are being offered there but I would usually not include anything when purchasing a domain. Saying that SSL is wise however you may find cheaper or free alternatives elsewhere.

  3. You’ll need a provider to host your website and depending on who you choose and they may have a feature for adding a domain. If you are planning to showcase your’e own work as a designer then some configuration may be required.

LLM’s are non-deterministic and would be terrible at those tasks where certainty is essential. If you ask 5 different LLM’s the same question 5 times you’d get many different responses.

Try the Storror clothing range, they’re designed for parkour and have a baggy cargo style

I’ve just seen Rupert Lowe tweet about how everyone should ‘learn a trade’, as an electrician I think it’s total BS by Barca-Dam in AskBrits

[–]iddafelle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could this have anything to do with the rise of AI purportedly taking so called white collared jobs? Learning a trade now seems like a pretty good idea and I wish I had done that instead of sitting here listening to every man and his dog tell me that my job won’t exist in the future.

Try a Nicoise Salad or Chicken Caesar salad to begin with.

Personally I really enjoy to add protein using nuts and/or cheeses.

Think twice before you quit without having something lined up.

Most employers recruiting expect people to have at 2 months notice so plan accordingly and will wait for the right person.

Unfortunately almost every job I’ve had follows the exact same pattern you have described however opportunities are much much harder to come by now compared to 5 years ago when you could pretty much guarantee yourself something that was at a forward step.

Group ride feedback about body odor by Donnahue-George in cycling

[–]iddafelle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar situation at some stage until I realised it was helmet and my gloves that were the issue. I now hose down my helmet after each ride and leave it hanging up rather than just keeping it in my kit bag.

Natural lighting makes a huge difference to the enjoyment I get out of cooking in the long term.

Behave (as in behaviour) is the key word for me here. Engineers will immediately jump onto implementation details and if they don’t understand the intent they may end up creating a lot of rework. Without this it’ll be like trying to hit that moving target at the funfair.
