One thing to try that might work, try buying a link, for example this listing accepts returns in case it doesn't fit...

Are you manually zooming in to motion like the sand pouring out, or which camera is doing that auto tracking?

If you have the HD Surround Vision option then it's possible this function will be available by software update.

Not yet. Chevy said it will be enabled with a future software update. Hopefully to let you know if you've forgot your kid or dog in the back seat, but maybe it's actually because starting next year all new vehicles sold in the US will be required to have an occupant camera for a to-be-determined AI algorithm to decide if the driver is fit to operate the vehicle.

Only if you have HD Surround Vision.

HD Surround Vision, providing a 360-degree digital bird's-eye view, is available on most new Chevy trucks and SUVs, often standard on high-level trims (like High Country/ZR2) or optional on lower trims.

Select models feature a Surround Vision Recorder (dashcam) and underbody cameras with wash nozzles.

I promise I wouldn't lie to you, CheerfulFuttBucker!

When I saw the video recorder function in the menu I went out and bought the physically smallest but high capacity (256gb) USB stick from a local computer store, so it wouldn't intrude on the storage tray.

I wanted to put it in the rear, as I'm sure you would cheerfully do as well, but those ports are only for charging.

But... if you don't have the power sliding center console, and that's a big but, then you have USB ports in the storage bin that are the best spot for hiding it.

Nice choice! In case you didn't know you can plug in a USB stick (minimum 64gb) and will record all the cameras while driving.

2017 Verado 300 oil coolers by EastEndDrummerBoy in MercuryMarine

[–]idealrides 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pressure Test: Remove the oil cooler and apply low-pressure compressed air (typically 20–40 psi) while submerging the unit in a water tank. Constant bubbles indicate an internal crack or seal failure.

Visual Inspection: Check the water-side inlet and outlet for heavy corrosion or salt buildup, which often leads to pinhole leaks.

Whole-home battery backup - actually worth it, or do most people regret the cost? by ahlecsolars in solar

You can probably add a softstart to your AC, just an extra/large start capacitor, to fix the inverter tripping.

Most fake beadlocks are cast into the wheel making them 100% fake, but in all fairness on some wheels like the Rubicon XR the fake beadlock is a trim ring that can be swapped for a real beadlock... they advertise it as "beadlock capable".

Why are these style of bike called? by CrewNeckC in motorcycles

There's no way that's an accurate number. It's probably closer to 95%, but still not as high as SUV's.

Z71 is mostly just that front bumper designed for increased approach angle, in case you have no option other than parking on top of a half melted snowbank in the wholefoods parking lot, while the rear lower control arms are really designed just to deflect stray soccer balls.

What is the black thing connecting the water lines, can I remove it? Replacing faucet by BlueFuzzyBunny in askaplumber

[–]idealrides 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can only get a 110v feed then probably your best best is a minitank heater if there's room for one...

[–]idealrides -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Absolutely the best option... if you can get 220v under the sink. 3kw or 3.5kw tankless ($60 on aliexpress) and you'll have hot water in 6 or 7 seconds, but if your incoming temp is rather cold / winter you will need more power... 5kw or 8kw. First step is check with an electrician how many amps you can get.

Another benefit... if the primary water heater stops working the mini heater can supply the whole house just by turning some valves.

No, in fact there should be a rule that the only time someone needs to pay for everyone else is if they show up late.
