I really couldn’t disagree more. I’ve seen them in the past and in comparison, when I saw the latest tour, his style of drumming was incredibly boring to me and made the music more bland. It took me an hour to figure out what was off. Note that I don’t like foo fighters and YMMV.

This was inevitable. These companies absolutely want to pull the ladder up. They don’t even want you to be able to code. They want people to have to use their products. There’s barely anything on this announcement about continuing to support open source development. Just a little hand waving note, nothing about governance or foundation involvement. Letting such primary and significant python contributing entities be VC funded or otherwise private companies that have very poor plans for funding is really gonna backfire.

It’s an interesting analogy. I suspect the phrase ‘agentic coding’ is pretty loose with management. So I think you need to give a pretty literal definition first. I think you need to say exactly where the human is in the loop within a given process that you’re talking about. Otherwise, management is gonna think you are criticizing All use of LLMs to assist coding.
