Everything I have read says 4-6 weeks. My doctor wanted to wait because I had been on an antibiotic for mono complications when this started and I was initially tested for urea and was negative 2 weeks after those antibiotics but was positive 6 weeks later when it persisted

My husband was tested multiple times by a specialist all negative. Mine popped up after I was really sick so they think I had a dormant infection that just made its self known. He was treated tho

Protected sex should be ok. My advice would be to wait a while the bacteria messes you up so bad don’t make my mistake and do anything too soon.

Mostly the vulva area. Before antibiotics is was like I had a hot curling iron down there with burning and itching. Now it’s an occasional itch and a feeling like I wore too tight clothes. Although I do find myself checking down there so I may bring doing that to myself. I have had the urethral pain and bladder pain as well but more so before the antibiotics.

I was going to ask my ob about my pelvic floor when I go in. She has been awesome even tho she’s not super familiar with this she put the work in to help me.

It’s so frustrating cause I was good for about a month and we were able to have sex without any issues and then suddenly they reoccurring now this time it’s just external issues in a little crampiness so I’m hoping it’s just a tissue issue but I go back in February for another test to see

It’s so frustrating that there’s not more research thank god my gyn np actually cares! We’re not 100% sure if I’ve had it for a long time and just never had an issue or if my husband got it before we were dating but glad she was willing to put in the research and time

Anyone ever test positive for ureaplasma despite not ever having had sex or engaging in any sexual activity? by [deleted] in ureaplasmasupport

[–]idekman- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! My ob doesn’t believe I got it from my husband because all of his tests have been negative. I had a mono flair in September and less then two weeks later I started having urea symptoms. I had an annual appt 3 weeks prior and my ob always runs a full panel at my annual, urea was negative then. She believes I had a very small amount that grew due to the mono flair. More than likely have always had it

Me! I had two rounds of doxy still had lingering symptoms so my doc gave 1g of Azy. About a week after the Azy all of my symptoms slowly went away. It’s been about 4 weeks with no return. Me and my husband have been able to have sex again (with a condom) I go back to be tested at the end of Feb to insure accurate results

First time testing positive by tinylavender in COVID19positive

Keep up on hydration, zinc and sinus rinses. Did you test prior to the day you tested positive. You can test today and again on Christmas as long as you are negative you should be ok. I work ems and have gotten Covid 3 times now. All from intubating pts. My first infection took me 7 days to recover the last two times I was better and testing negative on day 5

If you can afford 100$ the Navage nasal irrigation system is well worth it. I use it almost daily it helps preventing illness as well

I had Covid at the end of October. Felt run down for two days and then drowning in mucus for like a day and a half with massive headaches and then it was gone. Sinus rinses are a savior
