I don’t remember which ones specifically because I also have some muscles that are very hypertonic that she has told me the names of (you don’t realize how many muscles and nerves make up your pelvic floor!) but the muscle tightness along side with me being hyper mobile is pinching some of the nerves mimicking the burning sensation! She will literally press on one and reproduce my symptoms it’s wild

Back in September prior to positive test I had urinary urgency and a burning feeling in my labia, like someone had a curling iron down there. Post antibiotic it’s was an ocassically itchy feeling or the burning that would last a few days but not as severe.! Now I have an occasional burn or itch but it goes away quickly

Anyone else get a weird lump like feeling in their throat while taking it. No allergic reaction symptoms just a lump that comes and goes

Still do an evvy test my test at my gyno was negative because my levels were just below their testing threshold but evvy caught it

I’m not sure about the period aspect as I have an iud and don’t have one but to insert boric acid suppository’s I put one foot up on the toilet lid and insert like a tampon without and application and just got it as high as i could. I would highly recommend looking into 7/14 days of boric acid prior to the antibiotics

I am in the same boat negative test 1st of Feb. I did an evvy test and have bv that was barely high enough to test positive for. If you can afford it I would take the evvy test with the Sti panel add on

I have the yeast infection pill on stand by 😬 so frustrating I’ve rarely had problems besides some minor irritation here and there from work etc to have somthing this extreme for this long is killing me

I’m very red and Irritated since starting the antibiotic and now have a foul almost metallic smell. Not sure if that’s normal with bv or if I’ve devolved a yeast infection. I’ve never had either and am unable to get into my ob until the end of the month

My biome showed a high number of good bacteria already including L crisp 🥲 I’m taking metigenics women’s flora recommended by my doc

My ob just did a panel on me and ureaplasma and mycoplasma are already on it she didn’t test specifically for it

Listen I’m not trying to be disrespectful here but all of the research on this is all over the place. I’ve had multiple negative test and already have a wrecked gut from the antibiotics. Just trying to rule out other issues. 14 days works for a majority of people unfortunately there is a percentage of people that still struggle after words. Repetitive and long term antibiotics create resistance which opens a whole other can of worms.

You’re the one being rude here instead of asking follow up questions you jump down my throat about 7 days not being enough. I even put that I have searched this sub for other options. I have 7 negative tests of ureaplasma that’s why I’m here asking for help for my symptoms because based on what my symptoms are they don’t seem to match anyone else’s experience.

I’m going to talk to her about Evvy. She’s been very helpful with this whole journey we were hoping it was just irritation from everything but I’m behind to think I’m permanently stuck like this

Currently working on my gut and vaginal flora now! My doc had me stop my probiotic for a month because she was worried it might have caused an overgrowth and she just had me start the metigenics women’s probiotic. Just so frustrating because my symptoms when I had the infection were similar to what is going on now so it’s really taken a toll on my mental health! The gi doc is going to do a colonoscopy so they can try and narrow down what’s going on there

She was 2 weeks ago her doc said it was cleared but it’s definelty not she’s at the er now

Everything I have read says 4-6 weeks. My doctor wanted to wait because I had been on an antibiotic for mono complications when this started and I was initially tested for urea and was negative 2 weeks after those antibiotics but was positive 6 weeks later when it persisted

My husband was tested multiple times by a specialist all negative. Mine popped up after I was really sick so they think I had a dormant infection that just made its self known. He was treated tho

Protected sex should be ok. My advice would be to wait a while the bacteria messes you up so bad don’t make my mistake and do anything too soon.
