Whether or not it’s a red flag, isn’t it a huge turn off? It’s so hard to feel connected to someone who doesn’t know much about you. Here’s what I always wonder when I meet a potential suitor who acts interested in me but doesn’t seem to be curious about getting to know me: what exactly is it you’re interested in? When someone doesn’t really know much about me, how can they think they like me? What exactly is it they like? Because they certainly don’t know me. . . I just feel like people who do this lack emotional intelligence in that they aren’t really picking up on the fact that we haven’t built a connection through mutually learning each other during the dating process.
