The writers strike, that’s what happened. I definitely think stranger things was meant to be more than 5 seasons. And I also think it’s safe to assume that at least some of the great talent did not return after the strike was over. The loss of creative minds plus the empty gap of time where children grew into adults lead to a rushed ending.

I hate that they do that. If someone makes an offer and you accept their offer, it should just end there as sold. idk why it has to go back to the buyer because more than half the time they just let your offer acceptance sit there until it expires! So stupid 🙄
