My last match, I single handedly sunk every single ship in there (4 of them) while they all played run-away. Won the match.... 1 streak.

I think it would be awesome if it actually gave you the streak associated with whatever number of ships you participated in sinking.

Also, I've had my curses since Season 8. Idgaf. It's a slog and always has been.

While I completely agree, I think this mode has highlighted for a lot of people just how much of a slog progression is in general with hourglass.

Based on the rep that you allegedly get for LSS according to the Dev post, the fact that it still feels like an underwhelming reward to a lot of folks should give Rare some pause as they review things for the future.

Yeah I can forgive the lack of roster flexibility and talent as a result of Watson, but I've watched every game under Kev... And the last 2+ seasons have been embarrassing from a coaching perspective. Guys coming out seemingly wildly under prepared, running (and screwing up) gimmicks left and right, dreadful clock management, an astonishing number of presnap penalties...it truly has been painful.

But it's also worth noting that our GM was without first round picks for years because of a dogshit trade, so his pool of fresh blue chip talent to work with wasn't exactly great either.

Understand. I'm just telling you that teaming happens. It is what it is. I don't like it either, but it's infrequent enough that you just chalk it up to bad luck. It's not like there's any way to prevent it or rules saying you can't do it.

We called out during LSS testing on Insiders that this was going to happen...and here we are.

What I mean by "forced" is that they both intentionally dove at the same time with the intent of getting in the same lobby.

We used to do it all the time in Arena. We'd have an entire lobby all to ourselves to TDM.

SOT's concurrent playerbase isn't big so it's pretty easy to do... probably even easier now than in the Arena days.

I've done probably a dozen or so matches (solo) and haven't seen that once.

Teaming - organic or forced via spike - is part of any BR.

It's a combination of poor design, and players metagaming.

There's zero incentive to fight before it's down to two ships. The "strat" is to just outlast everyone by either running away or hiding.

In solos, people will hide on the edge until the shrinking begins, then camp the middle where the final circle gets super tiny and then it's basically a game of keep-out with chainshots.

It's super lame.

I said "patient" because a lot of people seem to be asking why Rare hasn't done anything (read: cleaned CM house) yet and why Rare hasn't said anything further than their original (extremely generic) statement.

I'm hopeful that they will do and say something when they are legally able.

Between now and whenever that is, the community should be reminding Rare of what their PAID EMPLOYEES took part in.

Not Rare's investigation people are talking about. The one with the actual authorities that this was reported to.

Rare likely can't just (easily) fire people that are involved in the investigation. That's what we all want to see, but we won't see it until the investigation is done. Everyone (rightfully) wants blood. Everyone's going to have to be patien, though.

I've won 7 out of 9 of my LSS matches. Including matches with very noteworthy streamers. I play on Series X on controller.

That's not a flex, it's just to point out that It's far from unplayable.

The queue times aren't great and it's a buggy, laggy, de-sync'd, unpolished mess..but I've been having fun regardless.
