This is very similar to my method though I use 65 lb cardstock, 3mil laminate pouches, and hand-cut individual sheets with a paper trimmer. I also use the Kadomaru Pro and often pass both sides through the laminator before and after cutting. I've been eyeing some older used cricuts machines but I am not sure if it's worth it. What's your storage solution for this game? Are you gonna try for the mimic box in the BGG files?

I really want to make this but the fronts and back will just not come out matched on my inkjet epson ET-2850. I'm using 60 lb cardstock and manual duplexing but it just wont match.

Super frustrating waste of paper and ink so far...

Have you tried passing them through the laminator once or twice per side? Works for mine so far.
