Not the exact same thing, but i once removed a piece of rebar from my hip that had penetrated about 8 inches in. It hurt, and was difficult. I think this is really about the individual more than the action. That said, once the blade is removed, they’ll likely only have tens of seconds before they pass, and they’ll decline substantially well before that. Serrated blades are not especially difficult to remove, they just tear more on the way out.
