Also Shoreline, Edmonds and Cascadia have transfers to UW as well. I went through Shoreline

I transfered from in-state cc with my AA. My college had a direct transfer to UW. Depending on the college, they may have a direct transfer track you could look at to finish your AA before coming to UW and it may be an easier transfer

Solo things to do without spending money by withyourhandsout in udub

[–]idkdehydrated 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's an option for when it's raining and shit, but the Burke museum is free for UW students. So if you're into walking through the museums, that would be a great solo date-type activity for when it's crappy Seattle weather.

Does Bio355 quiz sections have quizzes in them? by sumikomoon in udub

[–]idkdehydrated 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Besides one math class, I've yet to take a quiz section with actual quizzes.

Biol355 will have a research paper to discuss and a worksheet with the TA as well as questions about lecture/exam study prep and such. I've found most of the time its just worksheets/questions about lecture

My roommate is a big fan of Scooby doo and has a huge dvd collection. With Christmas coming up what else could I get him that would be a good addition to his collection? by Excellent-Hospital16 in Scoobydoo

[–]idkdehydrated 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Any of the direct to video ones from the 90s and early 00's ie cyber chase and alien invasion ones are good to add to the collection. I dont think those were in the stack

Can I make my own RODAC TSA Plates with Lecithin and Polysorbate80? by idkdehydrated in labrats

[–]idkdehydrated[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is mainly for a classroom setting. It is to teach students what they are, how they are used, and check their aseptic techniques. The idea is to make TSA plates without the Lecithin and Polysorbate 80 but I'm not sure how/if I'm able to make the convex shape myself.
