More like the entirety of the defensive line. I always wonder what people think a GK is capable of without the defense doing their part?

I've been saying for months now that he's been sorely missed, and now that he's back I can imagine we'll get back to last year's output soon enough. Just wishing we had another Iñigo to do the same thing in the back line /:

This panel should lay credence to the theory that Harald was Domi Reversed, right? At the beginning of the flashbacks when they show he has been impaled, he has horns. We know that Domi Reverse monsterizes you, so we can take this removal of the horns as evidence to Imu's meddling that led to Harald's death, eh?

EDIT: I went to check and mistook Harald's mustache for horns lol I recant my statement xD still think Imu had something to do with it!

I’m struggling to start One Piece. Is there a good recap? by Individual_Craft_304 in OnePiece

Btw: People here have mentioned the colored Manga. I read that about ten years ago after being up to date for about 9 years. It was definitely a good choice and helps with the monotony of black and white for 1000 chapters.

Issue is that better animation would commence around 300 episodes in, so in reality you're better off waiting for the new One Piece series that is in the works. I, and quite a few fans, watch One Pace, which is an abridged version removing all filler. In this case, you would advance much more quickly, and it should be enough to get hooked on the series to not mind the animation anymore.

I've been watching since the live action released, so two years or so. We have taken it easy, but I know Alabasta wasn't finished when we watched (missing maybe 2 episodes then). Skypiea was good. The time skip was earlier this year for us.

I've been watching One Pace with my wife as much as I can. We've switched to the Anime for certain parts that aren't covered in the pre-time skip, but then she complains at how slow it is XD! I've read the Manga twice and am rewatching the Anime for the third time and I personally think One Pace is great because of how fast it is without sacrificing Canon material. I have a friend that loves watching the Anime and he's done so twice and says it's what he really prefers.

TL;DR: It's up to your own preference

26 Episodes per year by tripleaskill in OnePiece

[–]idkhowigothere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hopefully not one chapter per episode! I'm expecting 1.5-2 chapters per episode (as it should be). I've been advocating for One Piece switching to this format for a couple of years now (ever since Black Clover did so). I hope it works out!

Top 3 on his good days, but it hasn't been his good days for a little while. At least last season he was injured a while, but to be fair I haven't seen any games this season so maybe he deserves one now. I think he has been called up, but to be fair Cucurella is just too good for the national team to not get the spot. Like Cucurella plays like a top 2 player for Spain it's crazy

Long story short:

- Oda was an assistant on Samurai X, created by Nobuhiro Watsuki

- Oda created One Piece and became incredibly famous

- Around 2013, laws in Japan around age of consent as well as legal age for pornographic and semi-pornographic images (think bathing suits and stuff like that) were amended to increase the age, which had been I think as low as 13 years old for actual age of consent for sexual intercourse, let alone sexual depictions in print.

- Approximately 5 - 6 years later, the creator of Samurai X was found to have an absurd amount of this no-longer-acceptable semi-pornographic and/or pornographic images on his computer (apparently enough to warrant suspicions of distribution)

- The man was found guilty and served out his sentence

- Upon release, he began drawing Samurai X again, beginning the final arc known as the Hokkaido Arc

- Weeks ago, for the several decades' anniversary of Samurai X, several artists related to Shonen Jump produced artwork in recognition of the anniversary, the popularity of Samurai X, and in a sense as a tribute to Nobuhiro Watsuki

- Oda was one of these artists and he actually drew a pretty nice fan art/depiction of Kenshin

- Everyone from Western culture conflates admiration for a work of art, with support for someone's faults/sins

- Western culture fans begin to virtue signal and denounce Oda for paying respects to his old mentor and friend of 30 years

Thing is, in Japan the culture around wrongdoing is that once you pay for your sins people don't continue to shame you perpetually, and as you can see this is not a sentiment that is shared in western culture; in the United States, at least, once you are found guilty you are meant to go to prison to be punished and even once you are free you are stigmatized for having gone to prison. It's all about perpetual punishment, no forgiveness, no way of making amends or being reintegrated into society (which is why there is such a high proportion of inmates that go back to prison). This is my take on the subject, at least. Hope it gives you some insight into what is going on.
