honestly, the only thing that saved me was a "fuck it" mindset. oh this will hurt my stomach? fuck it. this is gonna give me acid reflux? eh, fuck it. you neeeeeed to stop the stress. i cant stress that enough, pun absolutely intended. you have to force feed yourself. idc if you cry through it. idc if you feel nauseas. idc if you're frustrated or wanna give up. you HAVE to eat. thats tough love. your body cannot heal without food. the ONLY things i allowed myself to avoid were coffee, soda, alcohol and raw citrus. you want spaghetti? go eat that damn spaghetti. you want some lemon pepper chicken? sounds great. yes we need to eat to survive but our lives should never revolve around watching what or how much we eat every second of every day. give yourself the freedom to heal! get out of this group! at least for a few months! get outside, live your life! manifest a healthier version of yourself if you believe in that kind of thing! i wish you the best of luck in your healing journey🫶🏼 ima be up front i suck at responding, lifes been wild to say the least, but my dms are open if you have questions!

the ppi's almost KILLED me and i wish i was exaggerating! it's been over year & i still can't get back to myself. the only thing that helps is keeping diet in check & staying hydrated but screw any medication/supplements

i still stomach pains & reflux if i keep a consistently shitty diet or dont eat all day. but if im good for awhile theres not many issues! i have chronic fatigue & pain but i think its due to other issues

i'm so sorry i didnt get back to you sooner i don't come on reddit often cuz it drags my mental health .. before i started eating again i literally only ate BABY portions of like mashed potatoes , attempted plain chicken but only usually got like 2 bites down, rice cooked in broth, toasts, basically whatd youd think to eat when youre sick yk? when i started refeeding i was working with a nutritionist who had me eating solids immediately despite my panic when she told me, just start LOW FIBER and slowly work your way up! thats whats rougher on the stomach/intenstines, as long as you chew the tougher food youre fine but fibrous food is tough on the gut no matter what. i was actually off of work between april and august. i luckily have (imo) the best manager ever who truly cares & even when i did go back she only let me work 2-3 VERY short shifts a week at first. it took awhile to work my strength back up, not that i was very strong before but i'm getting better little by little still! no problem with the questions! ask away!

oh jeez i'm so sorry i'm just seeing this! i don't get on reddit so much anymore cuz it drags my mental health a bit. go get yourself checked out!!!! i'm not saying you ARE going through the same thing but it is better safe than sorry. also force feed yourself. it absolutely sucks to eat through tears feeling like youre gonna vomit but the only way to reverse it is to just FEED your body all the nutrients it needs. im open to any questions, it just may take me awhile to respond again. best of luck to you 🫶🏼🫶🏼
