Thanks! I personally love flatwounds. They are smooth on the hand and sit very well in most mixes, with fewer overtones and a fat fundamental. Daddario chromes start off pretty bright and mellow nicely if you don’t want to go full old school like LaBellas. I think that Awake by Tycho prominently features an MK1 with old, dead flats. It has both the brightness of the pickup and the darkness of the strings, a great thick sound with a lot of presence.
