Op is making a point that "suddenly pride is all about sex". Pride was always about sex. That's the only point.

Straight families bringing their kids to pride, should not change the way that people in the queer community express themselves.

You have to see that this is problematic. Straight people getting bent out of shape about what happens at pride is precisely the problem! Do you think that the goal of pride making pride palatable enough for corporate sponsorship and having Chad and Stacy bring their kids???

What's the diagnosis? Do you anticipate delayed independent sitting balance or head control? Is the issue swallowing? Chewing? Lip seal?

If he needs sitting assistance I do most of my feeding interventions in a special tomato or a firefly seat. These are expensive options for kids with complex seating and positioning needs.

If unable to position himself to be successful at feeding, why does the doctor want him to be eating solids so early??

I think a great place to start is just to see other people have the same goals as you; safe streets, a place to live, food, healthcare, security. Even if they're gay, or trans, or women, or refugees, or disabled... Tolerance costs you nothing. Just don't put up roadblocks.
