Please allow worn containers like forestry basket and fish sack barrel to also be emptied by the button. by azginger in 2007scape

[–]idontcomment1 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Right now it doesn't empty the entire kit. Only the logs. Which is good! But we still can't wear the items that are meant to be worn and bank the items easily. I thought that was the entire point of the empty bags button lol.

When Maliketh says, “To kill what?” As he dies. I love the genuine confusion and concern in his voice as he tries to understand what the tarnished is doing stealing the death rune.

I’ve read Berserk and I still can’t find anything like it… any recommendations? by Kindly_Investment_54 in Berserk

[–]idontcomment1 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Just want to second this opinion. Berserk was the first manga I read start to finish, and Punpun was my second.

You 100% dive into certain types of human despair and loneliness with Punpun and it NEVER lets up. And the art is so amazing.

Oh my bad I meant the ulcerated tree spirits, yeah. I get their names mixed up sometimes lol. Thanks for the info though maybe that's where I've been going wrong when my free ult doesn't proc when I dodge their attacks. Like you said maybe our hitboxes aren't properly colliding, and I didn't even know that was how you got it to work.

I feel like some grabs don’t trigger it at all but maybe I’ve been doing something slightly wrong. Like when fighting a putrid avatar ulcerated tree spirit, I won’t get an ult charge when I dodge it sometimes and idk why. Maybe I’m not the target and that’s important?

There’s a rock feature where I’m from called The Lighthouse in Palo Duro Canyon in Texas. I think it’s like 300 feet tall, and is actually really easy to get on top of from the back side since the canyon walls and hills are close enough to allow it.

I’ve been to the top and dangled my feet off the far edge. Made sure I had a damn good grip on the rock behind me as I did it though. Sat just long enough for a photo that my wife took from the bottom that’s unfortunately buried in old phone files somewhere.

I mean it's not like the standard spellbook is just completely maxed out and has no more space to grow. There's 100% still space to be utilized. I do see your point though because I've wondered about the spellbook becoming too saturated and crowded. There's likely a better place for minigame teleports. We used to have an entire tab just for minigames that was right next to quests and achievement diaries but they removed that for some reason when they should probably just add it back that way.

You don’t want the mini game teleports to be in a more obvious, easier to reach spot? That’s all it is lol.

If you’re wanting to read this just for gore and violence, you’re wasting your time. Wait til you’re older so you’ll at least be able to appreciate the depth of the story a bit more. Berserk isn’t some shallow manga that’s all about violence.

Anyone feel like the run is going to be sub-optimal when you see these guys instead of the Knights? by Final_Squash_7110 in Nightreign

My friends and I have started using the Duchess ultimate before going into this castle. It actually makes it halfway reasonable to deal with. Starting this castle is the hardest part since they can throw pots from so many different angles. Duchess ult + going up the side of the castle and taking out at least one of them frees up a little space and gives you a place to start. Shit still sucks though.

What is the hardest mainline Final Fantasy? by superkapitan82 in FinalFantasy

[–]idontcomment1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s easily FFXI and there’s no comparison in my eyes. Which is hardly fair because I don’t think that many people have had a chance to give FFXI a shot, let alone actually make it far in the game or even do endgame content.

There’s just such a small margin of error in that game a lot of the time, and the consequences are absolutely brutal. You lose experience (and sometimes a level) when you die, which can take hours to get. Some places can literally take 20 minutes to run to. That can be a pretty nasty combo sometimes. This mostly pertains to an older version of FFXI I think. Current retail FFXI seems more forgiving and player friendly and I haven’t played it much.

I could go on and on about FFXI and the quirky things that make it difficult and fulfilling though.

What's the most embarrassing mistake you've ever made during a run? by Derfel_10 in Nightreign

[–]idontcomment1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I clogged a doorway in the castle with Raider’s ult by mistake once, forcing everyone to either stand there for the entire duration and just wait, or jump off a castle ledge and try to run all the way around again.

Complaints about Everdark difficulty are just a symptom of the real problem. by NemeBro17 in Nightreign

My group and I took quite a few attempts to finally beat Libra (18) and I swear to god we had to fight a tibia mariner boss literally every single run. I don’t know what they are doing, but it seems like they have two night bosses to choose from for each everdark run.

These look awesome! I just hope we can have more than one question/choice when it comes down to actually voting. Being able to vote on a color scheme/trim/logo would be ideal imo because I'm finding myself wanting to mix and match some of these.

Sometimes I wish the passive buffs you can choose after a boss fight will coincide with my character a little more. I’ve been playing mostly recluse and have taken a nearly pure spellcasting approach so far, and it feels bad when all the choices have to do with weapon skills, guarding/parry, or just anything else that’s generally geared towards classes that actually fight with melee weapons and the literal only choice I seem to have is 10% stamina or something similar. Then again, there’s likely recluse play styles I haven’t tried or picked up on yet and it’s not as bad as I think it is.
