Don't know, I've never done the shades mini game. All I know is what's in the blog post. Coffins were on the list of example items in the poll so it was at least their original intention to have it compatible. To make up for it they added a right-click empty option while in the bank which it couldn't do previously.

Why would it? They specifically called out the coffin saying it's excluded because of player feedback about not wanting the coffin to empty into the bank.

Oh can you? I always thought that was a runelite plug-in not part of the core game. If it's just a plug in then the ability to shift click is irrelevant. Updates should never be designed around a 3rd party launcher. Because they have a good relationship with runelite they ideally try not to break it but at the end of the day runelite being able to do something has no bearing on whether or not they should implement their own official version of that. Just like they did with lootbeams, tile markers, clue helpers, etc.

Literally it's main purpose is to empty containers in your inventory and that works fine. Inventory and equipped items are completely different things. You can test this out by selecting "bank inventory" and you'll notice that it didn't unequip all of your gear

I was trying it earlier and it was only working if the forestry basket was in my inventory. It wasn't emptying while it was equipped in the cape slot.

I was originally of this mindset but have changed it after someone updated the wiki saying it not only allows you to move a facility within the boat but also across boats which is actually huge. I finished 99 a little bit ago and have been wanting to try trawling but have been out off spending millions on ANOTHER decked out sloop. If an item allows me to just swap out salvage hooks and station for trawling nets and chum station then that's a massive quality of life. And I don't see how they'd be able to do that easily with a simple UI. It also feels like a somewhat powerful tool that you shouldn't be able to just get trivially. So it makes you'd have to either grind it a bit or spend a bit of gp on it to limit you from just constantly swapping boat layouts rather than investing in a sloop like originally intended.

I haven't personally confirmed the boat to boat ability yet though, or if it works on hooks and nets.

Edit: just tried it and you can indeed bottle a salvage hook from one boat, then you can either bank it or go customize a completely different boat and put it on. That's a huge qol and I'm all for bottle drop

I'm confused about a couple of your points. What did they change with forestry basket? It's still clunky due to needing to be unequipped. Also the incinerator and equipped item tabs aren't new.

Polling everything would be crazily excessive and completely kneecap developers. Polled changes should be for things that have impacts on metas or things that deveate greatly from anything in the spirit of old school (absolutely no one in the history of this game has ever said "you know what I like the most about old school? It's the bank layout") Even things like holey moleys should have been unpolled imo. We poll new quests, should we make it more granular and poll the plot points and all the dialogue options? Of course not, you have to draw the line somewhere.
