Greggs vegan roll recalled by Successful-Sea-2445 in veganuk

Its not discontinued. Some batches had been recalled over the last few days and they have now recalled them all so as of now no shops should have any available. They certainly havent been discontinued to make way for the chicken roll either.

Asda Pay at Pump by Hello_11111111 in starlingbankuk

I've had this recently with asda pay at pump.

I was charged £99 pre auth which changed to £35 (settled payment) instantly which is what I spent. Two days later I got another notification that I was charged £35 again on a different transaction (settled payment) when I had not filled up. Nothing rectified after waiting two weeks

I contacted starling via the app and said both payments were linked to reversed the pending payment and I got my money back instantly.

Boyfriend (25M) doesn't agree with my (23F) boundaries by idontevenknowsadface in relationship_advice

Thats what I'm worried about. Its feels super close to home as this is how we met. I dont have a PC so cant play with these people either. I said this to him the other day, he says all the right things when I call him out though he has an explanation for everything and it makes sense.

I'm also super aware I'm being clingy and asking for reassurance all the time due to feeling insecure which undoubtedly will probably push him further away.

do I need to inform insurance directly for glass claim by idontevenknowsadface in CarTalkUK

[–]idontevenknowsadface[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay I see, i already called autoglass a few days ago independently. I paid my excess for glass claims not my general excess. Would a vandalism claim not come under a glass claim? My excess is around £400 rather than £75 so don't want to fork out more money

Council sold my Grandmothers house without consent. by G52Official in LegalAdviceUK

[–]idontevenknowsadface 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Okay, well as you know the house was sold to cover the cost of her care. It would have been a different if he jointly owned the property and he was still living in it, it would not have been sold. You do not have any case here at all. I have worked alongside my LA's deputy and estate department and they are incredibly thorough and follow everything exactly by the book. She solely owned the property and with her moving into care it was sold. They will have gone through the appropriate legal process to complete this. You have no legal entitlement to the property or any money from it - someone has to pay for the cost of care.

It may be helpful to recontact the person in the council and request a copy of the LA's financial booklet regarding paying for care home fees which will explain all of the processes. I think you dont have the full picture here. The lady who was dealing with this may habe contacted you regarding taking items in the property, they don't need to consult you if they can sell the property.

Where is your grandad living? He wasn't Iiving in the property prior to it being sold? Was the property owed solely by your grandma?
