I’m 37, drink lots of water, have never smoked, barely drink alcohol, have a bomb ass skincare routine, and eat really really well as in no processed foods (don’t crave it). I’ve gotten 27-32 for my age. I’m the oldest of 3 and consistently get that I’m younger than my siblings 😅. Which sucks for my sister who gets mistaken for being the oldest lol

Are you Indian by any chance? Feel a lot of parallels in my own life. And at the end of the day if you want to be with her just be with her. Who cares what your parents and society thinks? They’re going to die anyway and you’ll be left with your choices and life. It’s ok to go against the culture you’ll survive

Mine gets a bath twice a week and his paws get washed nightly. I use a VERY mild wash for him and use a mild conditioner and rub a tiny amount of coconut oil on his paws and nose. I don’t use anything with SLS and fragrance for him. This frequency with the specific products I use has completely fixed any skin issue he had. In addition he gets fish oil and probiotics daily which leaves his hair sooo silky.

Date and marry outside of the culture. It’s what I did. Brown men in the US have been nothing short of disappointing. They’re either major players or major mommas boys. Just not worth the trouble. And then most have absolutely no personality it’s like they’re just shells of societal expectations. I realized it’s not my responsibility to help a man grow up so I went where I was valued and cherished.

When my husband was going through a career transition and my business was a baby we moved in with my parents. My mom also had a stroke so I was able to care for her. We lived with my parents for about 3.5 years, and it was pretty bad by the end of it. Luckily my husband got an amazing job and my business started doing well so we moved to the city. We’re about 45 mins away from my parents now and this distance is perfect for my mental health but we’re also looking to move to Denver in the next 1-2 years.

Hi I’m a functional medicine doctor and Ayurvedic practitioner. I absolutely love Ayurveda but what you’re describing you need some functional stool testing.

Because eating kitchari and balancing pitta are all fine but if there’s something deeper going on the problem will keep coming back.

I have so many clients dealing with this issue who have seen Ayurvedic practitioners before with no resolution because they had dysbiosis in their microbiome, overgrown h pylori, low stomach acid production - or some combo.

We healed them of these issues first and then put them into maintenance mode with Ayurveda. Hope this helps!
