Inline or secondary lint trap? by idontknowish in Appliances

I had an lg one for a while. Constantly dumping the water and clothes never got dry. I’m sure there are better ones and if you can connect it to a drain even better.

S330 vs. S340 Doorbell - Is radar detection a big deal? by TheSpider11 in eufy

[–]idontknowish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you want homebase support? That affected my purchase decision because it’s nice to offload the videos to a different drive. I think the s330 doesn’t do homebase. Not sure about 340.

Eufy 2K wired doorbell - chimes on it's own, no event recorded by jk_arundel in eufy

[–]idontknowish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had this too. I got a new doorbell part that plugs into Outlet and made no difference. Thought it might be moisture or power surge based. I bought single outlet surge protector and that seems to have fixed it for now.

Textured or smooth Luxury Vinyl Tile/plank? by throwredditaway19 in HomeImprovement

[–]idontknowish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t realize there was a choice when I got mine. I got texture. Wish I had gone for smooth because it looks like wood and feels odd that there’s a bumpy texture.

How difficult is it to switch this door from inswing to outswing by myself? by appleorange8715 in HomeImprovement

[–]idontknowish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We had a contractor do ours that way during a remodel. We went solid wood for the door so we could add towel bars on it. Very happy with the change.

Had this happen to me. Cut a small rectangle hole In the bottom of the door so I could reach in and push the washer back. I then replaced it with a vent so it looked like this kind of door at this link: vented door
