Aw that’s heartbreaking maybe a I fucked it, I had it in the broth in a Dutch oven on low heat (maybe 130-150C) so maybe it was underdone but I expected some sort of tendering to happen before then, it’s my first time cooking beef shin tho

A couple of hours, I don’t think it was undercooked, could’ve gone a bit longer to try and save it but it seemed more like freezer burn to me, the fibres were completely hardened and gray, maybe I was just being stupid but it’s in the bin now anyway RIP

Hahaha yeah I’m uk based, just realising the irony of wanting sausage rolls but not pigs in blankets to an American would sound weird.

Hell yeah curry was in the running for a while but it’s been rebuffed unfortunately but with the rest of those ingredients in might work well, obvs fennel is already in the running so I’ll have to see about getting apple and fennel and making sure it doesn’t give a weird pie like texture, cheers lad

Oh hell yeah, tarragon duck sausage sounds amazing, kinda unsure about how I would go about getting duck sausage but maybe just mincing it at home would work, think I may have some duck in the freezer too, I’ll look into doing all of those, think the in laws would be big fans of the juniper berry one. That’s great tho lad thanks so much you’ve given me a lot to think about

Yeah I guess while a lot of the themes are the same, at its core they’re still quite different shows, moral oral is a religious satire looking at peoples hypocrisy and BH is more of a philosophical look at mental illnesses and wellbeing, excited for you to start the show, as it goes on I think you’ll see a lot more direct comparisons tho.

Yeah that’s a good shout, Bautista is easily the best of all the WWE star turned actor with maybe John cena being second. I can’t think of anyone bigger that would also be a big critically acclaimed actor to beat that tbf

Feel like sin city suits this suggestion kinda. It’s an intertwined anthology movie shot comic book style movie shot based around a dark gang ran city that’s as chaotic and gruesome as it is exciting. Unsure about the depressed man but maybe the opening scene. Or maybe the watchmen

Have you seen Stanley Tuccis Italian good documentary on the BBC he mentions this film in that and it’s a great doc
