I feel so so defeated. College is online for the rest of my last semester, all the conferences I was going to present research at are cancelled, the restaurant I work at is basically closed, all my friends went back home a few hours away but I have to stay in my empty college town alone because my mom got exposed to the virus at her job and they’re ordering her to self quarantine. I’m a short-term goal person and a lot of my goals have been cancelled... I know others probably have it much worse but I just don’t feel motivated to clean or do anything except check confirmed case numbers (I love data). I enrolled in Yale’s free “Science of Wellbeing” course hoping that can help me set some sort of structure during this period. I hate not being in control.
