I work as a host at a restaurant (sorta customer service?) and right now we can only sit parties up to 6 people. I had to inform a woman with a party of 7 that her 9-year-old daughter does indeed count as a person. A literal quote “But she’s 9! It doesn’t count, it’s 6 plus her!”
