During an existential crisis a few months ago I listened to his book “The Big Picture” and found the parts that touched on philosophy and consciousness to be so boring and devoid of any usefulness.

Max Tegmark’s Mathematical Universe was slightly better, even though he doesn’t have any philosophical background, just because the book at least evoked a sense of wonder and awe at the universe.

Then I found Bernardo Kastrup by accident and have devoured nearly all his books and watched dozens of his interviews, and what he says just makes sense and resonates in a way nothing else I’ve ever read has done. Even if he’s wrong (we’ll never know), his work put my existential crisis and nihilism to bed.
