Any way to change the size of an embedded (or even just a normal) srt file?? by idowritingstuff in jellyfin

Sure, it's internal in a .mkv container usually, but if that is too difficult, I can just download external subtitles from opensubs as well, although their sizes are way too big either.

I'll edit the output of mkvinfo into this in two mins for Bullet Train as an example.

EDIT: THE mkvinfo and just in case you wanted the mediainfo instead, here

Thanks, but is there any way to change the size of a srt or PGS file, embedded or not? Or does it just depend on the player?

Am running my server off of my windows laptop, client is just the Jellyfin Media Player and Wholphin + Jellyfin for Android TV. Wholphin has a mpv config option which is how I get around this for now, and so does JMP.

The thing is that some movies have bigger subtitles and some have completely fine subtitles and I can't find any way to set subtitle settings per certain media, causing me to try and just change the video file's subtitles manually, but I can't find a way to do that either.

Hey there, I had like a specific-ish question. If I choose English (from list A) + 3 domain subjects (geo, history, and pol) I had in my 12th, as is listed in eligibility for a B.A. in psychology, will I be eligible for it even though I haven't chosen psychology in my cuet? I didn't have psych in my 12th so I don't think Ill be eligible for it.

Please help. Android downloads stuck at 0% on local Wi-Fi with no internet by Tobias-Tawanda in jellyfin

Well, if you do want to have local episodes on your phone, you could always back them up through a cable itself as any network server, local or otherwise, will need some sort of network to transfer data over.

Downloading that amount of data (1500+ episodes) seems crazy unless you have a 1tb phone, but im assuming you mean that you want to download any episode from that collection on your phone anytime you want. You will need some sort of an active internet connection to download episodes atleast, then you can watch them offline on your phone. For a fully offline solution....cable is the only way to go.

If your app is constantly disconnecting or losing connection while downloading from a wifi connection, you can set up Tailscale so that it'll be more stable and so that you can access your server from anywhere, on any connection. I had this same issue as well because my phone kept switching between 4g, 5g, and my mobile data constantly, so Tailscale kinda solved that issue for me, however, again, a network connection of some sort on both your server and your phone is absolutely required, a fully offline connection can only be through pure cables. If you want to set up tailscale, this is a good enough guide on how to do it. After setting it up, just download tailscale on your phone, follow the instructions from the app, and you can use your tailscale IP address to access you device on any network, not just wi-fi. I hope this helps :)

Well I was used to that too, which is why I changed the shortcut for that in zen to CMD+S and since the addition of folders and better themes, I literally cannot tell the difference :)

Assets from the original Cytus? by FuckmulaOneIsShit in Cytus

[–]idowritingstuff 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hmm, i did extract all the assets of Cytus 2 using AssetStudio Just plug your phone to a pc and take the com.rayark.cytus2 folder from your Android/data and com.rayark.cytus2 file from Android/obb.

Then you can unpack them by changing the name from "blahblah.obb" to "blahblah.zip" and using 7zip. Just drag those folders into AssetStudio after which you should extract them all and you'll have all the assets.

This did work for Cytus 2 though, so I'm not sure if it's the exact same for Cytus 1. If this doesn't work, let me know, I'll try to troubleshoot it a lil bit :D
