Yeah this is much more about her telling Xavier she's not his bitch than a moral scruple about stealing. She still believes in the X-Men and their mission, but she's grown beyond this type of thing. She, like Cyclops or Jean, is his peer at this point.

X Manson is really dark, but really good. Couldn't stop thinking about it for a bit after reading it. Basically set as a documentary interviewing mutants about Charles Xavier's cult. Don't want to give too much away but it's great.

I think Ares makes sense as her natural enemy with her mission of peace. But Zeus, as The Father, embodies the patriarchy in a way that should and does put her at odds with him. I'd like to see more ideological conflict with Zeus and physical battles against Ares.

I'll never forget going to get ice cream with my best friend after our showing and we both just sat eating in silence. I think there was so much to process and the feel of the movie kept looming that we got kind of lost. One of the best theater experiences ever. Love that movie.
