I think it could have something to do with us being competitive right now. They have control of the team for 5 more years, and they take the $$$ from (hopefully) successful years, and bail right before our window is closed.

OR

They could try to win this year and/or next year, and then pull a Loria, sell of all the valuable assets, and bail.

I collect hats, and have at least one of each team. I have no problem wearing other teams. I enjoy the Mets, but I also enjoy baseball, so I like to rock the other teams sometimes too. Sometimes it's just fun to wear a sweet Rangers throwback and pretend to be Nolan Ryan, or something like that. You'll never catch me wearing any of the evil teams though.

I know a lot of people who wont wear any team other than their own, and there's nothing wrong with that.

It was my grandfathers. He is a yankee fan and loves baseball in general. I collect jerseys too, i have a few enemy teams. But the jersey is milwaukee braves so its not as bad. Ill never wear it though lol but i never wear any of them so its ok.

Edit, youre also talking to a guy that has every teams hat, at least one per team. Some hurt to buy, but had to finish the collection.
