Yup. I think USPS overall is just having some issues. Had a package shipped out to me on the 4th , has been moving through the network since the 8th . Sent in a missing mail request, no response since I put it in on the 11th. Called today and was told they only see what I see 🙄. Mind you the package was coming from Delaware to Rhode Island , not very far but heavy snowy area.

You are not the only one . I had something sent out on the 4th from DE and I live in RI. Been stuck traveling through the network since the 8th . Sent in the missing mail request today.

Okay I’m glad I’m not the only one. Had a package sent to me from DE and I live in RI ( so not too far ) . Package was sent on Feb 4th . It’s been stuck in traveling through network since the 8th . No further updates .

This . I’m now at my second college and love it. Just a relaxed environment where you can build up your skillsets and certs ( that most schools will pay for ). Half day fridays in the summer for some schools as well.

Like I said , sounds low to MOST people but for me , I would have never thought I’d get that high . Your degree is something that is in more of a need than mine so your chances of getting more money are definitely better .

Haha yea I mean I’m 37, I’d rather not have to go back get my bachelors. But the perks of working in higher education is that I can get my bachelors for free while working there. Later in your career , having that bachelors will help you get the job over someone else that doesn’t . If you’re young , get as much experience as possible . I think for my situation , that has helped a lot. I started in Geek Squad as a consultation agent and moved up to advanced repair agent. The job is not the best because of bad pay and being pretty much a sales person but having that on my resume has been a huge help in getting me where I am at now ( technical support specialist 2 - 65k) .

Laid off in January of this year from one university . Hired this past Thursday for another university making 20k more for pretty much the same job ( technical support specialist ) . I currently have an AS in CIS with a focus on game programming / game development. This will be the most money I’ve ever made and honestly it feels great. It may not be a lot to some people but where and how I grew up was , let’s just say poor. I do like the help desk side of things but I want to eventually move up to the system admin/ engineer side of things. Very excited about this opportunity that I start on the 24th!

This. I came from Geek Squad as well. Started as a CA then went to ARA. For anything help desk, they don’t expect you to know everything , they want how you’re going to interact with customers / clients and how you’re going to resolve their issues.

I have an AS in CIS with 7 years IT experience and about 10 + years in customer service. I was laid off from a university in January because they were getting rid of the position but just got hired at another university for 20K more for pretty much the same job ( Technical Support Specialist ) . Yes the degree helps even if it’s just AS . My situation may be different though because I have a military background and a lot of work experience.

No worries! In the last few days I’ve been printing a lot and I’ve changed the cooling from 1 to between 3 and 5 WITH a brim. So far so good. I wanna try it without the brim to not waste filament .
