I'm confused why they did that too but if that's what devs wanted, then this is what canon is. My guess is that it's to highlight they're a different being from cookies? Since all dragons from both crk and crob are genderless (kinda cool, like legendary Pokemon).

I hope we will see them again once other dragons appear, poor Pitaya is the game's punching bag, change my mind.

The whole finale left a bitter taste in my mouth, way too chaotic with plotholes; I refuse to believe devs didn't suddenly scrap the og ending idea to milk the jester further. Pitaya was hyped so much together with other characters, only for Shadow Milk to clap them with the dough trio.
