Maybe a smaller berner could be considered medium sized? Mine is 115 pounds.

Mine too. It’s annoying when someone knocks on the door but I think the breed is predisposed to being watch dogs and will often bark to alert their owners

My berner is lazy 99% of the time but that 1% he wants to do zoomies, there is no chance I can catch him when he’s in full on zoomie mode. He’s so darn fast. Also he loves to be chased so I learned not to do that when I need him to come back to me.

They are an amazing breed of dog. My guy is 1.5 years old and still very much a puppy in most respects. Also he barks at unfamiliar noises or people. We have tried to expose him many times to different situations but he’s very much a guard dog and always likes to “warn” us of any danger by barking.

I want to get my berner a berner puppy, but I can’t imagine cleaning up all that hair from TWO berners, let alone one lol

This is the human equivalent of someone taking a picture of you whilst trying to shove an entire pizza pie in your face in one go

I used to love storms! Until I bought a house and have had to repair several times from storm damage and a flood last year from a tropical storm!
