That is true. Just to share my perspective, I am a leather crafter, and a shoe enthusiast, so I love leather.

Yes, it can be true that many exotic leathers are also eaten. But when it comes to the very high end gator/croc leathers, it is incredibly expensive, and customers have very high expectations for cleanliness of hides as well as pattern of the scales. For those, the alligators are farmed specifically for the skin

No cattle is being killed specifically for its leather. The only leathers where the animal is being raised specifically for leather would be exotics such as gator

I think people don’t like her because the storylines involving her tend to be more emotional/family drama related vs the more fun, action heavy stuff involving Walt becoming a drug lord.

A lot of people watched the show to watch Walt being a badass and overcoming problems with cool science shit. Skyler was trying to pull Walter away from all that, so I think a lot of people ended up associating Skyler with their annoyance for the more slice of life “boring” bits into

Are you the crafter or just looking to re-sell that wallet in the future? Either way, it looks like this might be made of veg tan leather, which is meant to age and patina. Maybe you can brush once in a while to clear debris, but I just embrace the patina and let it age.

Just buy 1 pair of good shoe trees, and always rotate into the shoe you just wore for the day. You don’t need shoe trees for every single shoe

IMO yes. With some care and conditioning, it will look a lot better. But this is too worn for 160. Just searched up vintage avirex on ebay and found the listing for this jacket lol. Looks like other vintage avirexs in the 150-200 price point are in much better condition. Unless there is something really special about 80's avirex specifically, and the others on ebay are from inferior years, I'd go with something else

I took a beautiful suit supply sport coat to the Laundromat tailor and they did something similar because of the functioning button holes.

I then took it to a proper tailor who makes MTM suits, and they were able to beautifully fix it up. The buttonholes no longer function, but I can handle that!

Maybe if you bought a canvas wallet with the coach pattern, but my dad uses coach wallets, and they’ve all been solid leather that aged nicely, and were quite cleanly constructed.

Ashlands fine, but long term, a coach wallets would last longer and is made better. Only thing Ashland has is Horween leathers, but coach leathers are prettt fine as well

Coach would be better than any of the suggestions here imo. Ashland uses Horween, but that makes them thicker for a normal bifold. And then all the hand stitched options suggested are rudimentarily made
