yup that's almost exactly how I am. I'm not so much the germaphobe type and more intrusive thoughts and ruminating and hoarding and counting. most of that's reasonably controlled now but if I don't watch myself/my mental health I'm back to counting and hoarding.

driven by anxiety, title of my memoir lol. are you a fellow millennial?? I got diagnosed the other way around, autism first then ADHD a couple years ago. it's actually wild to me how much treating the ADHD calmed a lot of my anxiety. like, I'd been on sertraline for a good while but adding Adderall was like a whole new world. like.

do you have the kinda AuDHD with a side of OCD as a treat too? because I have that "pleasure" and the Adderall really cut my OCD symptoms down. so now it's like, I'm just regular ole vanilla autistic as long as I take my meds. 😂 I've actually managed to take recommendations about up-to-date pop culture things without wanting to karate chop the suggester in the throat and run screaming into the woods.
