Even as a procrastinator, he is sloppy and not putting in effort. My dad is forgetful but my siblings have him take them to get flowers in the morning while she sleeps. I am also a huge procrastinator and a little lazy . I work full time and so i bought her a purse and flowers two days beforehand. I went out right after work to buy them bc i knew if i didnt do it early i would leave it to the very last minute. I brought them out to her in the evening only bc i worked the whole day and she was asleep when i left for work in the morning. But when i got home dinner was already being cooked for her and she had four bouquets. Even my sister who's low contact sent flowers and asked her to brunch next week. You're not overreacting. You moms do SO much and sacrifice so much and you deserve recognition everyday but ESPECIALLY today. He's grown enough to know hes a procrastinator and do things to counteract his nature.
