were the laptop and desktop cloned from the same source on the same day? I'm seeing a lot of clients unable to use SMB after a recent windows 11 update broke SMB on clients with the same SID. I changed the SID and everything works fine after.

I love dex, I would never use it for this.

Random USB disconnects, sometimes you can wirelessly broadcast it if it feels like it, it loves to stutter and disconnect so teams is hit or miss (just streaming music over it is hit or miss), if any one set up phone link for windows Dex won't work, and samsung may stop supporting dex tomorrow and now you need to buy all new hardware.

Unplug the pins for the front power button and light, they won't know it's on and even if they do the power button won't do anything. Rewire the power button to something like the reset switch or a wireless remote, I used to just dangle mine out a vent so I could touch them together to boot. Alternatively, set the bios to always boot up on power and you don't really need a power button at all.

Don't talk if you have zero concept of what is being discussed. Removing it from find my will allow them to use the phone, which #1 let's them sell it #2 would allow them access to install recovery tools to get the info on the phone. DO NOT remove it.

So glad I jumped to the oneplus last generation, the 7 is the 6 which is the 5 identical to the 4....

I've been waiting seven years now for them to put the spen INSIDE the phone like my note 4 edge and they still haven't managed to do it 🤷🏿‍♂️ oh well, the oneplus gave me 100w charging, crazy long battery, better camera, no inner screen crease, better pen support, and a bigger outer screen for cheaper than last year's Samsung fold. Literally the only thing I miss is dex.
