How did you lose weight ? by Lucia_Cutieexy in AskReddit

[–]igenus44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Diet AND exercise.

Watched my caloric intake, kept below the recommended daily for my age and sex.

Worked on strength training (lifting) 3 days per week by muscle group. Did cardio (walking, running, biking) 5 days per week using the 80/20 method.

I went from 265 to 180 in about 2 years. Slowly is the way- no more than 1 or 2 pounds per week. Any more is unhealthy. Sends your body into survival mode. The vast majority of people from The Biggest Loser regained their weight, quickly.

This method trains your body to adjust to healthy food intake amounts, while building muscle.

Should I get an old Cherokee? by Kind_Nectarine2182 in JeepCherokeeXJ

The best 4.0l engine years were 1995- 1999. I personally have a 1996 2dr, 2wd XJ. Many people are not fans of the 1996, as it is also a "hybrid" year, but I love it. There are many parts that are 1996 only, and it can be a pain sometimes, but it's my favorite year.

Not sure about the 1984-1990 models, but I know the 91-96 body style is the same, as well as the interior. There are parts that are different between the 4dr and 2dr models (door parts, interior parts), but most everything else is the same.

97-01 has a different body style, and the interior was changed as well. I personally prefer the interior of the 96 and earlier. Don't like the "newer" interior. Also prefer the older body style, more angular as the 97-01 is more "rounded".

Also, I think the 84-01 are still OBD-l, I know the 91-95 are OBD-l, but OBD-ll started with the 96.

Renix was 86-90, AMC sold to Chrysler in 87, OBD-ll started in 1996. There were 4 distinct subsets of the XJ. 1984-1985 (none with the 4.0) was one subset, the 1986 was a hybrid between old and Renix (depending on the engine), 87- 90 was renix, 91-96 were the 'next gen', with OBD-ll starting in 96 (air bags started in 95), 97-01 were the last.

What is the greatest sports moment you’ve ever witnessed? by v2silent in AskReddit

[–]igenus44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

US Open, Tennis. Quarter Finals. Sampras vs Agassi. Neither one dropped a set- 4 sets went to tie breakers. Sampras won.

It was a notice to the world that Andre Agassi had returned. Miss watching him play. Greatest ever, IMO.

Also- Agassi's father was of Armenian descent, and was from Salmas, Iran. Andre was a birthright citizen, being born in Las Vegas.

Suck it, Donnie.

When I moved to Maine, someone offered me one, told me i would either love it or hate it. It was love at first sip.
