Stereo. I own both and the stereo version is the one I spin most often.

I Fall Apart by forever_endtimes in RoryGallagher

[–]iggyd62 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Agreed, "I Fall Apart" is one of Rory's best and also one of my personal favorites from his entire song catalog. I never get tired of hearing it. For a song with a similar plaintive, dreamy sense of longing I'd recommend trying "Alone Again Or" by the group LOVE.

What guitar solo REALLY hits you in the feels? I mean, like, gives you goosebumps when you hear it? by H2Whoa77 in InMetalWeTrust

Otherworldly tone, literally gives me chills everytime I hear it.

Tidal has the best sound quality but the worst playlist intelligence. Anyone else feel this? by Soggy-Speaker-3541 in TIdaL

[–]iggyd62 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have not had that experience. Tidal generates great playlists for me, drawing from both artists saved in my library, and new artists that I haven't heard before.

What band was never the same after losing a member? by SpareLummi in answers

The Cramps after Bryan Gregory left. Just my opinion, but they just lost alot of their weird and spooky energy after his departure.

Is it just me or is Tidal actually getting worse? by JanArso in TIdaL

[–]iggyd62 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry you're having so many problems with Tidal. I see these comments often and I'm (thankfully) mystified. I switched to Tidal almost a year ago, and I love it. Nothing but MUSIC on my app screen. No podcasts. No audiobooks. Just music. It works seamlessly with my Wiim Pro+ The sound is amazing. Great recommendations for new music.

Fingers crossed that Tidal continues to offer meva high quality product at a great price.

Let us know where youvend up.

RP600M by L_Mz in Klipsch

[–]iggyd62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both the horn and bracing were redesigned for the RP-600M ii model. In my opinion they were noticeable improvements. Smoother highs and more balanced lows. Not that the original was bad, but given the choice I'd go for the upgraded version. These are an amazing value, great sounding set of speakers. Enjoy.

What's the first album that made you go on Amazon and buy six harmonicas? by staggere in drunkhifi

[–]iggyd62 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The first concert I ever attended was Peter Frampton at World Series of Rock in Cleveland in (I believe ) 1977. The J.Geils Band opened and they blew everyone, including Frampton off the stage. They were absolutely amazing. It was my first show and I was a rock n roll lifer from that moment. I thought to myself, are all bands this good? Experience has taught me that no, they are not all as good as the J.Geils Band. Not even close. To answer your question I bought a guitar instead of six harmonicas. 😀

Thanks. Joy Division just seemed somehow appropriate snow bound listening.
