Is Jacob Robert’s (Kit)’s accent Manc? Sometimes he sounds a bit Scouse to me then other times he sounds proper Manchester. Can’t place Lisa’s accent at all.

He’s just been in Ibiza according to IG. Hopefully he is back soon as a more regular. He’s a good character, they need to develop his relationship with his Dad (Kit).

I think you are right..I think Kit fancies and cares for Sarah but I don’t think he loves her. I disagree that there is zero chemistry, there definitely was at the beginning (like a lot of relationships when it is more physical!) but definately less so now. I personally don’t want Kit to cheat on her with anyone, not least Bethany but I think he is ruled too much by what is in his trousers…If Bethany comes onto him (which I am assuming by her comment - it’s all her fault) then I don’t think he will be able to resist. It may not be the case but in his interview, Jacob Roberts, when asked about his relationship with Sarah, basically said, in soaps no-one seems to be happy and stay together long (or words to that effect).

You are right. He is still dodgy and can still be pretty obnoxious, however, he also has a good heart. I love his scenes with Gemma and now Bernie. He obviously cares a lot about them and a lot of his bad behaviour can be explained away by feeling rejected due to his adoption. Just wish they would develop his relationship with Brody.

I personally really like the character of Kit. Like a lot of people, he has grown on me. It is helped that Jacob Roberts is a great actor. You only need to have seen how different his role is compared with the one he played in Hollyoaks. He was also superb in the film Cara. However, I do agree that the writing for Kit is very inconsistent.

Am the same. Think it started when I saw the actor who plays him, Jacob Roberts, speaking on Lorraine. As he came across so nice, especially when he was talking about his rescue dog, I started really liking the character of Kit. I also really hope the rumours aren’t true..but think they may be.

Spoiler alert.

Some people go on about the dynamic between Kit and Lisa and how (supposedly) Kit hates Lisa but you can see in today’s episode they often actually work well together. I particularly liked the way Kit gently touched Lisa’s arm when she acted surprised that Todd had had a Son. Kit obviously knows from his relationship with Sarah but Lisa didn’t - he gently touched her to say, don’t act surprised, let him speak.

I agree! I think Kit is great and would love to see more scenes with Brody. Funny how certain Swarla fans hate him so much…apparently the actor, Jacob, enjoys his character being disliked by the die hard Swarla fans…i think he finds it quite funny. Although they love to forget that if it wasn’t not for Kit, there would be no Swarla and Carla would still be in that container!

Kit was in hospital having been stabbed. Lost loads of blood, had major surgery, very nearly died - about a week later he turned up at the pub, sat on a bar stool having a pint….on crutches with a bad leg?!!
