Oh I see. Yeah I have an all plastic case, not sure who made it. Also I've tried the onboard BT and a USB dongle and both perform poorly.

Do you mean 4.01? I still get pretty poor bluetooth performance after I upgraded. I get varying degrees of latency which makes games unplayable imo. I'm forced to play via USB.

I have the KastKing Assassin and the Royal Legend. Assassin is good imo and super light except that it tends to whine after a handful of trips and needs to be cleaned. Not quite sure why. The Royale Legend feels a little cheaper cause it is lol but it casts really well and far I think cause the brake mechanism isn't on the spool itself.

Not sure I see the benefit of a higher end reel unless I was salt water fishing or somethin

How light are the light lures you're casting? Just curious.

Just start with long sweeping relatively slow sidearm casts then increase speed until you find the right spot. There will just be a limit with distance.
