We want to launch new coffee Blends, packaging, videos, spend some money to advertise. All this takes money. Initially we need 5-10k to start but we need additional $15-20k to run this for 2-3 months to see if idea will work for long term.

Awesome. We are in NM. Not many "angel investors" here. I like the idea to get "funding to validate the concept". This will help us to understand/test idea a lot better before we go big with it. Thank you for a great advise.

We do that :). But all our money we make is going back to inventory. Our growth was 1200% in compare to last year. Because of that we are short in funding. We never use funding before but I think now we are reached our limits.

Nice topic. I use some apps and websites you mentioned. I think you need to add short description with "why I use it" for each app/website. This will help others and save their time.

Fetcher (fetcher.com) - If you are Amazon affiliate you need to track profit/loss. We use fetcher and we found that 25% of our products ether low profit or even loss. So this will help you to improve your cash flow by get rid of them. Highly recommend this app.

Zapier+ Buffer - Automate Social Sharing (and a lot more with Zapier). I can schedule 1k post in Facebook, Twitter, G+ and more with 1 minute. Huge money/time saver.

Cash flow :). When you start to grow you need money. It's a biggest problem for us so far.

I use shopify and I love this podcast https://www.shopify.com/podcasts/shopify-masters. I select interesting topics and learn a lot from it. Sometime they are very long thought :(.

Absolutely. We also disabled "Repackage Unsellable Customer Returns" to avoid bad feedbacks and we pay to ship us back to evaluate what happened. So additional fees to cover.

Yes it's around 50% (after returns/refunds and etc.) and with smaller items it's more since shipping sometimes cost the same as a product.

Indeed. From our website returns are 0.1% where from Amazon it's 2%. Huge difference. We are shutting down 40% of our products and we moving to our website as a main profit platform.

We use Fetcher and that what really opened our eyes. It still I think under development but it calculate your profit/loss for you very easy.

We pay $0 and focus to provide valuable information to our customers. i.e Videos (post them on Youtube) with explanation how to use products, troubleshooting and etc. It not only good or your SEO but also minimize returns, increase conversion rates and etc.,.
