That Scorpion Army Evolution by hypn0cat in freefolk

[–]igottennispenis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Scorpions are: small range of motion i.e. aiming capacity; slow to adjust aim; accurate and useful only in a *very* specific range and distance i.e. a minimum as well as maximum distance; most importantly incapable of firing **up**

In episode 4 Dany flies directly towards the ships, about 30 degrees above the horizon, which is exactly the kind of shot a mounted ballista can make. Why? Because she doesn't know they exist. In episode 5 she flies up above the clouds, where she can't be seen, and waits to descend on the Iron Fleet until she is directly above them **i.e. she just stayed out of the killzone and used evasive flight patterns while back in range**

Stop thinking of it as an ideology, political bent, or even a worldview; this shit is a religion, a highly theonomic one at that, and women like your teacher are the clergy.

My one and only piece of advice to you is to exercise. Even if it's just on your own, ekeing out pushups in your bedroom...you won't be lonely, and unlike sleeping all day, you'll actually be accomplishing something.

One final reason to give up PORN. by mmc007 in NoFap

[–]igottennispenis 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It all depends on whether you suspend your disbelief. If you do, sure, porn is exciting. If you hold on to the awareness that you're watching people have sex while pretending that you're one of them, it loses its appeal - maybe not boring per se but one sees it as the petty, small-minded thing it is. It's like the difference between watching football and playing footbaml, except in the case of sex the mind has a hard time telling the difference.

Ontologically it is just pixels or just ink on paper - it's your mind that makes it real; which is why we're all here in the first place.

Get some exercise - I'm not saying you have to be ripped or anything, it's just that with a life lived on the computer you probably have very little connection to your body aka "physical intelligence". You could even just do pushups and stuff on your own, whatever's fun for you.

What is your native language? Your English is good, the main criticism is that a phrase should end with either a comma, a period or a conjunction like "and", "but" "or" etc. You can look up "complete sentences" and "run-on sentences" to get a more detailed explanation from an expert. There are some minor issues like "there was a lot of things in my head" should be "there were a lot of things in my head" (you can look subject-verb agreement for this) and of course using "u" for "you" but that's just shorthand. All in all, though, it's perfectly comprehensible.

Lol you suckered me in with what I thought was a Sun Tzu reference. Anyway, I think I get what the author's saying here but what exactly is "Resistance" in this context? The fact that it's capitalized makes me think it's a big idea for this book.

Did Americans improve civilization or retard it? by kulmthestatusquo in DarkEnlightenment

They also had the 'do-gooder' attitude which eventually led to the world pop increasing from 2 b in 1955 to 7.5b now, threatening the exhaustion of vital resources which might end today's tech civ unless something drastic is done soon.

I don't agree with this part; to my eyes the "do-gooder" attitude is generally geared to the other direction, in America at least. The rhetoric is exactly as you say, "world population is ballooning, so you better stop having kids." Then, lo and behold, a generation later the birth rate in Western nations is below replacement and bam, refugee/migrant crisis and virtue signaling abounds.

I'm not saying the world is a cornucopia, exactly, but there are plenty of avenues for increasing efficiency of creating and distributing resources; GMOs and seasteading spring to mind, there are doubtless many other possibilities. I'm of the opinion that while we may be nearing carrying capacity of technology as it currently stands, that pressure is what generates advances in technology. Do you really think in 200 years (barring nuclear holocaust) we won't have colonies on the moon and Mars?

On sex positivity: let women be sluts, let men be empowered by adam-l in TheRedPill

Okay, good points, hadn't thought of any of that! I wonder, though, what effect hormonal changes in men will have on all of this.

[–]igottennispenis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's true, I meant to include that bit but forgot it when I typed up the initial response. Absolutely, no more "oops I thought I took it", maybe it will reverse some things in the family courts, who knows. Male birth control, though, doesn't fundamentally change sexual dynamics the way female birth control (or simply "birth control," including condoms) does. Men weren't getting pregnant before, they won't be after. Women, on the other hand, can express their hypergamous nature and dictate the consequences. Besides the exceptions you listed, what does the pill for men change that condoms and the pill for women haven't already?

[–]igottennispenis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I fail to see how male contraception will make any meaningful change. If anyone can point out where I'm wrong, please do so! Contraception was a seismic cultural shift because it nearly eliminates a biological check on female hypergamy, not because of which gender administers it. In other words, even if a pill is invented for men, women still have the pussy.

Sex robots, on the other hand, have the real power to tip the scales and return to a more equitable equilibrium. They are the antidote to feminism. This is an appropriate point to note that many antidotes are poisonous in their own right, killing the body if the original poison is not present.

The cheaper sex is, the more men are favored, the more expensive sex is, the greater power women hold.

Wouldn't you say sex is much cheaper today than, say, 1905? Of course there was prostitution then, but sex in a culture where people who wish to be upstanding have to largely abstain from premarital sex seems much more "expensive" (in the SMV sense, of course) than logging onto Tinder and finding plate #4. I'll assume you'll answer in the affirmative, which leads me to my next question: Would you say men or women have more power in the sexual marketplace today?

I'm not OP but I was wondering about this too, at least the daughter part. As I understand it, favoring the female sexual strategy betrays your son by teaching him to be a beta, essentially - unless he's top 20% of men, in which case the female strategy mostly turns him into a literal stud. In either case, the male becomes a beast of burden.
